Message the team

Chat with your colleagues without leaving ComptaFlow: direct messages and groups, in a panel that follows you across the app.

Who this is for: all firm staff, in firms with at least two active members.

Before you start

Team chat is included in every paid plan, but it activates only once your firm has at least two active members. Below that, the chat button does not appear, conversations cannot be created, and messages cannot be sent.
Chat is firm-internal only: everyone in a conversation belongs to your firm.

Open the chat panel from the floating chat button (bottom right, available on every page).
Start a direct message by picking a teammate, or create a group with a name (up to 100 characters) and the participants you choose. You are always part of your own groups. Opening a direct message with someone you already chat with reopens the existing thread.
Type your message (up to 5000 characters) and send. Delivery is in real time, with typing indicators, and the history is kept.
Unread badges count what arrived since you last read a conversation (your own messages never count). Opening a conversation marks it read.

If sending is refused or the chat button is missing: your firm has fewer than two active members.
If a conversation will not open: you can only read conversations you are a participant of.
If you cannot add someone: all participants must be members of your firm.

Messages: 1 to 5000 characters. Group names: 1 to 100 characters, at least one participant.
Conversations and messages never cross firms.
